ATALAYA

This enchanting 30 room Moorish style castle built by philanthropist Archer Huntington during 1931-33 housed the couple, their numerous servants and Mrs. Huntington's indoor and outdoor sculpture studios. The castle grounds include a large indoor courtyard, and the former stable, dog kennels and bear pens. Visitors may choose a guided tour or wander the sprawling seaside domain on their own from 6 a.m.. -9 p.m. Admission is included in that of Huntington Beach State Park.
